The attacker then has the opportunity to attack again, using a card with a value of either his or the defender's card. The value of the cards goes as 6-7-8-9-10-J-Q-K-A where only a 6 of the same suit can beat the ace. To attack simply place a card face up against the opponent, whom then to 'defend' must place a higher value card of the same suite against that card, or any of the cards from the trump suite. This player will then be the first 'attacker'. The aim of the game is for each player to take turns 'attacking' and 'defending' and the first 'attacker' is decided by which ever player has the lowest value card, lowest being a six, for which the trump suite six will always win. From now on that suite is the 'trump' suite. The rules are as follows.Īt the start of the game hand six cards to each player, then flip over the top card on the deck and look at its suite. The aim of the game is to go through all the cards and have none left in your hand at the end. Durak is played with basic deck of 36 cards with all the 2,3,4,5 removed.
